Maintenance and support

H1 / H1+

Your phone, down to 10 metres

The H1 is a connected waterproof case: it protects your smartphone down to 10 metres and lets you trigger photos and video with its physical buttons — underwater, a touchscreen no longer responds. Video up to 4K and 1080p at 30 frames per second, photos at 8 MP.

The shell is made of DURABIO™, a plant-based polycarbonate resin developed by Mitsubishi Chemical: transparent, UV-resistant and antibacterial.

What the H1+ adds

The H1 is a case for taking pictures. The H1+ adds sensors: depth, water temperature and dive time are shown in real time and burned into your photos and videos. Everything else — sealing, optics, battery life — is identical on both models.

Expect up to 8 hours of use per charge, and a little over 3 hours to recharge. The case takes smartphones up to 165 × 79 × 10 mm.

Maintenance and care

A waterproof case does not forgive approximation: a hair or a grain of sand on the seal is enough to flood a phone.

  • Before every dive, check the seal and the lens port: clean, dry, free of nicks.
  • Run an empty test — phone removed, case closed — for a few minutes at the surface.
  • After use at sea, rinse with fresh water and dry the case before opening it.
  • Store it open: a seal kept permanently compressed deforms and loses its sealing.
  • Only lubricate the seal with a silicone grease intended for this purpose.
