FAQs and helpful articles

SWII

  • How do I unlock the Swii?

After use, place the Swii in clean water. Tap the “auto-clean” function.

  • What is the battery capacity?

The battery capacity is 6600 mAh and 10670 mAh.

  • Can I use the battery in cold weather?

The battery is a lithium battery that is inactive in cold weather. If used in such an environment, its capacity will drop sharply. We therefore recommend using it between 0°C and 40°C.

  • Is it normal for the battery to get warm?

The battery is a lithium battery and warms up normally during use. If it overheats, please contact your dealer or SUBLUE for assistance.

  • Where can I buy a spare battery?

You can buy a spare battery on the official SUBLUE website or by checking with your local dealer.

  • Where can I buy a spare battery?

You can buy a spare battery on the official SUBLUE website or by checking with your local dealer.

  • Is it normal for the battery’s electrode contact to corrode?

This is mainly due to improper maintenance. Please follow the maintenance instructions in the user manual to prevent or reduce this problem.

  • What is the battery type and specifications?

    Battery type: lithium-ion battery.

Rated capacity: 6600 mAh and 10670 mAh.

    Rated voltage: 14.8 V.

    Charging voltage: 16.8 V.

Weight: about 750 g for 98 Wh, 1100 g for 158 Wh; both batteries look identical.

    Length: 171 mm.

    Width: 58 mm.

    Thickness: 60 mm.

  • What should I do if there are green spots on the battery?

This can be caused by foreign objects getting in, causing electrolysis of the copper and the appearance of green spots and rust on the steel. Please contact your dealer for assistance; prolonged use is not recommended. In the short term, you can also apply petroleum jelly to the copper strip.

  • What are the battery storage requirements?

Battery storage temperature: 0°C-40°C, storage humidity: 60±25% RH, keep the charge at around 30-50%, stored separately in a well-ventilated place. Please charge it once every three months. Do not charge the battery below 0°C.

  • How long does the battery last?

Battery life depends on the operating environment, depth and weight. Under normal conditions, the average life of the 98 Wh battery is about 30 minutes, and that of the 158 Wh battery about 45 minutes.

  • If something gets wrapped around the propeller, will the machine stop on its own?

Yes. The motor will stop automatically due to overload protection.

  • Is it normal for the two propellers to produce different thrust?

Please check whether there are foreign objects in the propeller; you can then contact customer service.

  • Why does the thrust sometimes feel weak?

This may be due to low battery power, a propeller wrapped with objects, or a heavy load.

  • Why is there noise?

The Swii has been strictly tested and the sound does not exceed 80 dB. Improper maintenance or foreign objects in the propeller can cause noise.

  • How long can it be used?

The 98 Wh battery can be used continuously for 17 minutes; the 158 Wh battery for 25 minutes.

  • How do I check the Swii’s remaining battery level?

Turn on the main switch and the breathing indicator will light up. The light colour varies according to your selection. By default, a flashing green light indicates 60% charge, yellow 30%, red 10%. A long red light indicates a low charge below 10%.

  • Can the machine be used in hot springs?

The suitable ambient temperature is -5°C to 40°C. Use above 40°C is not recommended.

  • How do I clean the Swii after use?

After use, place the Swii in clean water. Tap the “auto-clean” function in your mobile app, and the propeller will spin and clean itself automatically.

  • What material is the Swii made of? Is it safe?

The Swii’s float is made of EVA, a new eco-friendly foam material. EVA is a certified shock-resistant, heat-insulating and moisture-proof material, so you can use it safely.

  • What is the speed of the Swii?

The Swii has 2 speeds. Typically, for a weight of 40 kg, the high speed is 1 m/s and the low speed is 0.6 m/s. Speeds can be changed via the mobile app and are retained after switching off.

  • How deep can the Swii be used?
