Before writing to us
Many faults are settled without a trip to the workshop. Check first:
- that the battery is charged and properly locked into its housing;
- that the water intake and outlet grilles are not blocked by sand, weed or a shell;
- that the seals are clean and greased (Sublue silicone grease only);
- that the unit has been rinsed with fresh water after every trip at sea.
Routine care
After every use in salt water, rinse thoroughly with fresh water — motor off, battery in place — then let it dry in the shade. Never store the unit with a flat battery: charge it to about 60% before a period of disuse, and put it back on charge every three months.
